The CLDP is designed to strengthen students’ command of English through structured communication activities that build confidence, clarity, and effective expression.

• At Oakley International Schools, communication skills and English language learning are strengthened through dedicated Speaking Squads formed among students. Members of the Language Council are selected through a screening process and reviewed every term based on their performance.
• Speaking Squad members help promote language discipline within the school campus, encouraging the regular use of English in daily interactions.
• To further enhance language awareness and confidence, Language Festivals are organized, featuring activities such as elocution, debates, descriptions, storytelling, recitations, and more—making language learning engaging and enjoyable.
